We are announcing an audition for Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra’s position ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL
with obligation to play 1st oboe and cor anglais
We offer:

The audition takes place in three rounds. To participate in the 1st round, we expect:
- your CV together with an overview of your creative activities;
- video recording of your performance of W. A. Mozart Oboe Concerto in C Major KV 314 1st and 2nd movement with accompaniment.
Candidates reaching the 2nd round are invited to an audition where we expect you to perform:
- W. A. Mozart Oboe Concerto in C Major KV 314 1st and 2nd movement with cadenza.
In the 3rd round candidates will have to perform:
- R. Strauss Oboe Concerto in D Major, 1st and 2nd movement;
- orchestral excerpts, that will be sent directly to the candidates invited to the 2nd round.

The 2nd and 3rd round will take place on June 3rd 2025 in Theatre Vanemuine, Tartu.
Starting time of employment is July 2025.
