We are announcing a contest for the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra’s position

II VIOLIN

We offer:

• full-time job with salary 1600 euros (gross) monthly;
• 56 days of paid holidays annually;
• opportunity to work with a very versatile repertoire;

The contest takes place in two rounds. To participate in the 1st round, we expect:

• your CV together with an overview of your creative activities;
• video recording of your performance of a freely chosen piece.

Candidates reaching the 2nd round are invited to an audition where we expect you to perform:

• W. A. Mozart –  3., 4. or 5. violin concerto 1st movement with a cadenza, with accompaniment.
• orchestral excerpts, that will be sent directly to the candidates invited to the 2nd round.

Please send the video together with your CV by January 31, 2025, to konkurss@vanemuine.ee with the title „II violin“. The chosen candidates are sent an invitation via e-mail together with detailed information about the audition and orchestral excerpts.

The 2nd round will take place on February 25th 2025, in Vanemuine Theatre, Tartu, Estonia.
