Children’s dance and song performance, based on Arvo Pärt’s Stories from Childhood

Johnny’s Way to School is the story of a little boy whose dream is bigger than him. Thanks to his friends, he learns to notice the world around him, and to care about it. On his journey, Johnny also finds a new friend – the Book.

I am no little baby,
I work as hard as men.
I dye and paint and glue, too,
Fine Pictures just for you.

– Silva Kaputikjan, translated by Paul Hillier

So hello, book! What a fine book!
Full of magical trails,
And the glories of the stories
From the tellers of tales.

– Leelo Tungal, translated by Paul Hillier
