Native culture is an invaluable treasure.
On December 30, 2006, we established the Vanemuine Foundation to preserve and support Estonian theatre art.
We pledge to stand for the well-being and development of the Foundation

“Musical performance skills must be developed consistently, as otherwise good form may not be maintained. This is required by solo, orchestral, and chamber music repertoire performed on concert stages. Thanks to the scholarship, I felt needed and motivated. With this support, I was able to realize several creative dreams and give birth to new ideas.”
— Cellist of the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra, scholarship recipient Olja Raudonen
Drama actress Ragne Pekarev participated, with the support of the Foundation, in Robert Marchand’s workshop, which focused on a character-centered improvisational process and explored the emotional and psychological state of a role in various situations.
“I wanted to find new directions for working on my roles. Now I feel that I gained more from Marchand’s workshop than I initially realized. Certain moments and experiences continue to nourish my senses and serve as inspiration on my further path.”
— Vanemuine drama actress, scholarship recipient Ragne Pekarev
